Making waves of change!

Coastal elegance meets the heart of the Rockies.

Join us on Saturday, July 5th, for an unforgettable evening of seaside sophistication and philanthropy at the Merry-Go Ranch. With Aspen’s peaks as our backdrop, we’re bringing the essence of the beach to the mountains, think crisp ocean breezes, refreshing cocktails, and a chic, sun-drenched ambiance.

Together, we’ll create waves of change that reach far beyond the shore, ensuring mentorship stays strong and accessible for youth from Aspen, to Glenwood Springs and Rifle.

Enjoy live music, exquisite dining, and effortless style as we come together for youth mentoring.

Dress in your best beach chic attire and get ready for a night of celebration, connection, and purpose.

2025 Bash for the Buddies:

Location: Merry-Go Ranch, offering stunning views of the Aspen mountains, hosted by Gail and Lenny “Boogie” Weinglass.

Honoring: Erika and Karim Souki for their years of generosity and service to futher the mission of the Buddy Program.

Theme: Making Waves – A Night of Chic Beach Elegance

The evening begins at 6 PM with Taste of the Valley, featuring delectable beach-inspired appetizers and handcrafted cocktails from the Roaring Fork Valley’s top chefs and mixologists. A seated dinner, brief program, live music, and dancing with Tunisia will follow.

Parking: Valet service will be at your service for a seamless arrival and exit.

Dress: Embrace beachside sophistication with chic coastal attire, think light, airy fabrics, elegant resort wear, and a touch of seaside glam. Shoes suitable for strolling on grass are recommended and don’t forget a jacket for the cool mountain breeze.

Online Auction: Can’t make it to the Bash? You can still make waves! Our Online Auction opens on July 2nd, offering you the chance to bid on exclusive items and experiences until July 6th at 4:00 PM. Registration is free—join the fun from anywhere!

The Bash for the Buddies is more than just a night of ocean sunsets and beachside bliss, it’s a celebration of local youth, families, and the incredible Big Buddies who make waves of change across the Roaring Fork Valley.

This event is the tide that keeps us going, typically raising over one-third of our annual operating budget, critical funding that keeps our four youth mentoring programs thriving and free for the community.
