Radio Interview
In December, Peter Waanders and Egbert O., a Buddy Pair in our Community Program, did an interview on KSNO radio station to discuss the importance of mentoring.
Peter has been a positive role model and mentor to Egbert for 9 years - more than half of his life! With Peter's guidance, Egbert has focused on his academics, started his own dog-walking business and traveled to Taiwan to study for a year on a Rotary Youth Exchange program. Egbert has also learned the importance of giving back to his local community - he is a Peer-to-Peer Big Buddy.
