Buddies Go to X Games

BoysWednesday, January 25th, the Buddy Program hosted a very popular and fun activity at Winter X Games for our Buddy Pairs! With over 15 Buddy Pairs joining the fun, we met at the Base of Buttermilk to tour the X Games site. It was such an exciting activity and many of our youth had the opportunity to experience X Games like never before! Thanks so much to Jason at ESPN for making this event possible, Elena Hight for her involvement, and to all of our fabulous Big Buddies who made the trek out with their Little Buddies.

Build a Stand, Spark a Dream: Lemonade Day

Holiday Crafting PictureJune 30, 2012 will be the inaugural Lemonade Day for youth from Aspen to Glenwood. Held each year in cities across America, Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to ownand operate their own business – a lemonade stand! The life lessons learned through this program touch on philanthropy, banking and goal-setting.

Continuing Education Scholarships - Application Deadline: March 2nd!

ConsueloThe Buddy Program is proud to offer Continuing Education Scholarships to our Little Buddies who have remained in the program until their senior year of high school, our Peer-to-Peer Big Buddies who have volunteered for at least two years, and our Experiential youth! Last year, we awarded a total of $33,000 in scholarships for youth pursuing high education at accredited institutions through out the country. .
