Every year, the Buddy Program hosts our annual “Buddy Ski Day,” free of cost. Many of our Little Buddies have never been on skis or a snowboard before and this is an opportunity for them to have fun and challenge themselves in a healthy and safe environment.
On March 13th, 36 of our Buddy Pairs and 10 of our experiential youth participants gathered at the base of Buttermilk for our annual “Buddy Ski Day”. On this beautiful bluebird day, our youth got the opportunity to rent equipment, take ski or snowboard lessons and get on the mountain with their Big Buddies. After a morning of skiing and riding fresh corduroy, our Buddies enjoyed lunch at Bumps Restaurant. It was inspiring to see our Buddies filled with excitement and joy! Thank you to Aspen Ski Company, Bumps Restaurant, and our volunteer ski instructors for helping us put on another successful Buddy Ski Day.
