Build a Stand, Spark a Dream: Lemonade Day Comes to the Roaring Fork Valley!

June 30, 2012 will be the inaugural Lemonade Day for youth from Aspen to Glenwood. Held each year in cities across America, Lemonade Day is a fun, experiential learning program that teaches youth how to own and operate their own business – a lemonade stand! Not only can Buddy Pairs register, children grades K-12 can sign-up with a caring adult and receive materials such as an entrepreneur workbook absolutely free. Participants keep all of their proceeds and are encouraged to “save some, give some and spend some”. The life lessons learned through this program touch on philanthropy, banking and goal-setting.
