Rebecca Smalley – Communications & School Programs Coordinator (3+ years)
Rebecca joined the Buddy Program as Executive Assistant in April of 2008 and was promoted to Development Coordinator in November of 2008. In the past, she has assisted in fundraising, special events, grant writing and marketing. Her current role is Communications Coordinator as she is focuses on the Buddy Program’s marketing and public relations efforts. She also coordinates the Aspen School-based and Peer-to-Peer Progams and enjoys getting to know our local youth and Big Buddies. She has a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Colgate University and is also seeking her Master's in Social Work degree at Colorado State University through a distance program. She was a Big Buddy for two years and serves on the Board of Directors of Aspen Young Professionals Association. Rebecca enjoys spending time with her family and friends, loves to volunteer, and is happy doing anything outdoors!
